About Us

Larry Liang, franchisee at NerdsToGo of Kent, an Asian-owned business, comes from an extensive background in technology that spans telecommunications, gaming, datacenters, servers, networking and engineering consulting. He has worked as a Software developer at AT&T, as well as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Microsoft Xbox, Hitachi Vantara, Base2 and Belcan Engineering. Prior to that, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, graduating summa cum laude from Rutgers University School of Engineering. He also has his MBA from Western Governors University.

Larry has been intrigued by technology ever since he was a child. Growing up in the 90s, he was acutely aware of how computers could connect people with others around the world, and the ability of technology to broaden people’s experiences.

NerdsToGo appealed to Larry as a way to turn his passion for introducing others to existing and new technologies into a business. He believes that NerdsToGo will fill an incredibly important and underserved small business IT support role in the community, as well as providing easier access to computer repair for residential customers. NerdsToGo offers small businesses the IT capability they need to compete in today's exceedingly online world within their budget.

When he is not busy serving the technology needs in the community, Larry volunteers at Chinatown International District Business Improvement Area events as well as the Little Saigon and Chinatown monthly cleanups. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Bellevue Lifespring.

Larry is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves reading sci-fi and fantasy. He’s also an avid board game and video game player. His top picks for games include D&D, Frosthaven, Eldritch Horror, Honkai: Star Rail, and Pokemon.
